FIL-AM SHOWTIME EXPANDS VIEWING AUDIENCE

ALASKA - In an agreement signed recently with the new television station "KACN-TV", an NBC affiliated station, the Fil-Am Showtime now becomes a part of the major television corporate in Alaska.

"Fil-Am Showtime", a non- profit corporation was founded by Anchorage resident Nez Danguilan in 1994. The creation of the show focused on nurturing the youth of the community, to get them involved in positive activities, by having them as participants in the shows production and telecast or indirectly through their participants in the featured special highlight sports activity segments, which steered them away from possible gang involvement and street crime activities. Additionally the show was created to provide cultural entertainment for the Filipino and Anchorage community at large with its local telecast.

Fil-Am Showtime will now be seen statewide in Alaska. "This is our lifelong dream, to have the show televised all over the state of Alaska," said Nez Danguilan, Founder and Executive Producer.

"This is exactly what Juliette wanted" said Nez, referring to his late wife, co Executive Producer and Program Director Juliette Arce Danguilan, who passed away of breast cancer in August of 2007.

Fil-Am Showtime has and will continue to be aired on GCI Community Channel 12 on Wednesday at 8:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 PM.

The show's statewide telecast will air on NBC affiliated station KACN-TV GCI Ch. 1 on Friday 2:00 PM, and Monday, 8:30 PM.

“Memorandum of Agreement" (MOA) with KACN-TV has been signed by Nez Danguilan, and Katy Parrish, General Manager of KACN-TV/Alaska Communication Center, after months of uncertainties”, said Nez Danguilan, it’s founder and Executive Producer. Fil-Am Showtime can now run commercial adds for businesses, community activities, government and corporate sponsors, and televise the show statewide. Interested parties can contact Fil-Am Showtime through it’s website. The show which is a "family" and Community" oriented Variety Show’s website is http://www.filamshowtime.net.
